I don't know where to ask this but I will ask it here. I am constantly getting link exchange requests from people that have 5 websites to link to with long hyphenated domain names. They always have a hotmail email address. Who are these people? They seem to have bought some ready made website package. Does anyone know what the deal is?

They are basically spammers. They are trying to get tons of links from anyone anywhere and eventually they plan to exploit google for keywords like viagra.

Well then I guess I have been correct in basically ingoring these requests and not sharing links. Thanks for the quick response.
