    Really bad copy
I was checking for some domain names and found this on the top corner of the godaddy.com site:

    What's better than a Beaver?
Our new ad showing Danica's other side.

    Is it just me?

Love or hate it...it seems to be working for them. GoDaddy likes to be seen as the rebel. The kind of guy you want to kill when you find out they are dating your daughter. (That was me not that long ago...lol) It draws attention to them and therefore drives sales.

They have some heavy hitter celebs signed up and don't show signs of stopping. Dale Earnhardt Jr joined on this past winter. I like their CEO Bob Parsons. I don't agree with some of what he does, but overall I think he is a very smart businessman.

I am not all that crazy about the whole Beaver Danica thing....but that is just me, I just think with their money they could have had a little more fun with it, it was like they wanted to push the envelope but got scared so only bumped it.....go all the way or don't do it at all.......think of the viral marketing they really could have had if they would have gone, excuse the phrase, balls to the wall, with this one.......woulda, shoulda, coulda.....

ProWebAddict - I don't know that I would go down that particular road with it, everyone knows that sex sells....

BuyJewelry - I am amused how edgy he thought his ads were, he played it safe in my opinion

I do agree that his ads were very one sided on the sex sells bit, he could have engaged his female audience with a hot male, or even the older audience, but hey I don't work for them.....

They wouldn't do that because men aren't seen as objects, women are.

I'm still using their services but sometimes you have to call a spade a spade.
