Quite upsetting.. sending great traffic to the merchants that are supposed to convert. : big dogs, 123 inkjets, Best Deal magazines, Ebay, copernic and others. and not one sale this month from cj! and it's the shopping season. lost in thought :0(.

Hey Jason. Sorry to see you're having trouble. At a glance your impression to clickthrough rate seems very low.

You may want to have a closer look at that your visitors. Are they looking for the products you're offering? In other words, are your visitors finding your site as a result of using "printer cartridge" related keywords or e-mail, etc.

If not, that would explain it.

If they are, are you overselling and hammering them with pop-ups?

As for conversion rates, the only merchant that I deal with from your list is 123 and I am having a good experience with them. Here's my stats for October.

    Clicks: 3552
    Impressions: 48,831
    Sales: 160
    Revenue: $2717.37

In fact, they out perform my second best printer cartridge merchant by a good margin:

    Clicks: 3758
    Impressions: 42,780
    Sales: 153
    Revenue: $1831.04

    I am a fan of 123

    dear james,

"Frankly, it's almost like the Gold Rush of the last century, -- where for very little money ANYONE could stake their claim and get rich!"

apparently it has not escaped you that most money was made by the merchants selling equipment, etc supplies, to the prospectors . . .

    full marks,
    from heisje
