    Thumbs up Incremental Datafeed Downloads
More new datafeed functionality for Affiliates...

We've rolled out a tool that allows incremental downloads of datafeeds should you choose not to grab the whole feed everytime you perform an update. Of course, this applies to raw datafeed (flat file) subscriptions only..

Here is a quote from the article Scott posted on the blog today:
Last week we rolled out some changes to our datafeed download system that gives Affiliates the option to download only the incremental changes since their last download or a specified date. These new options can drastically reduce the size of your downloads and any subsequent processing time.

Reading things like this simply makes me wish that the merchants I'm affiliated with in CJ, Linkshare, and Shareasale were with AvantLink. You guys seem to have set the gold standard with your API.

    Cool.

With the configurable date/time stamp you have now, the issue is easily handled anyway. But I still look forward to this change rolling to the coupon feed as well.

You guys are doing some great stuff, it is appreciated, and I mean both professionally and personally. Thank you.

OK, the upgrade to the Coupon Feed is live. We added an option for affiliates to build XML-formatted coupon feeds. And Donuts, to your specific request regarding incremental downloads for the coupon feed...

Also, this same update added support for incremental downloads of coupon feeds. As with incremental product datafeeds, this functionality allows you to retrieve only new or modified coupons from a certain date (or only coupons that have become invalid since a certain date) if you are using a delimited (CSV, tab-, or pipe-delimited) or XML formatted feed.
