    Well,

I 've heard of General Mills and I 've heard of Betty Crocker.

But Betty Mills sounds like she missing the General and the Crocker.

Too bad because it seems to be a general crocker...

    3 questions:

    1. How big of a text file does a 30000 item datafeed create?

    2. How do you ensure that 1800 number posted on the top of your site doesnt siphon off our traffic/sales?

    3. What is Tampa doing up by Jacksonville on your "Shipping from a location nearest you!" map?

    Mel-

    1. How big of a text file does a 30000 item datafeed create?

It is about 25MB. Also, I can zip it and email it to you once you have an account number.

    2. How do you ensure that 1800 number posted on the top of your site doesnt siphon off our traffic/sales?

Most of our sales are web based. In addition, when customers call, they sometimes just call to ask a question and then go offline to continue their shopping. Usually they call to get a dimension or a weight.

    3. What is Tampa doing up by Jacksonville on your "Shipping from a location nearest you!" map?

Our designer was on buzzin on tequilla when creating the map

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Could you clip the feed down and provide separate cleaning products and office supplies feeds?

    Hi FFoc,

We actually have the items listed by either 2 master categories, so you can separate them very easily.

If you are just want a smalller file to download, I can zip it and email it to you with either category.

    Regards!

I've already gone through the process.. My site is up and running already with the complete line of janitorial products.. Yes, I split it by master category (had to do so - it was taking forever to load the front page otherwise!)..

When is the feed updated, anyhow? quarterly?

Yep. Quarterly- unless we have some drastic mid-quarter price changes, but if so, we will warn in advance the best we can.

Big fat paychecks on the way for all July sales.

I can't wait for the new 30k product datafeed to get indexed on the engines.

    I'm here for ya!

Any bonus potential? 5%'s just squeakin' in...

    [Update:]

Just saw the WebMerge post. But how about after that? I'd hate to see that 5% come back...

    Leader,

    Thanks for the post.

Commish is 5% if you are an outsider. 6.5% if you let us know you are an ABW member(see exclusive offer forum). 7% if you build with Webmerge til year end.

Will revert back to 6.5% ABW commish at end of offer period.

Let me know if you have any questions on any of this.

    Important Terms question!

This isn't the "Leads Program" is it?? Because it says for the leads program, that all sites must

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR> Be content-based, not simply a list of links or advertisements, nor can the site be centered around making money off of our Advertisers~BettyMills Terms <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

I don't put Sales programs on non-sales (content) sites. My site's not a banner or link "farm," but it *is* a SALES site (not an informational/entertainment site) and proud of it. This is what works to make sales.

Also, it seems that the Agreement is coming from some Network or another. Where? Which one!? (If it's been posted before, I missed it) Because an affiliate is in *business* to "make money off of their Advertisers"--that's the WHOLE POINT of bothering to make a site!

It's quite aggravating to be ready to sign up and see an archaic Term like that one. (Which is counter-productive for lead generation, too, not just sales.) Hopefully you can make my day by saying it doesn't apply to Sales!

    Leader,

Thanks for pointing that out. Our terms agreement is way outdated.

I'll have it updated to reflect the fact that we have crossed into the new millennium.

Our expectation is to have our sales program matched up with sales site just as you have pointed out.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

I kind of figured that--after all, a c*ntent site wouldn't have a whole lot of use for a 30,000 product datafeed--but I wanted that clarified just to be sure. I've seen in the past that if there's any doubt, Find Out!

I've got another question but I'll PM it to you. Check your PMs in a few minutes (gives me a chance to write it ).

I signed up (I put a note in the Comments section with my screen name so you'll know it's me). I see that it says 5%--when will the bigger commission appear in the interface?

Next question--Do we have to put our aff. code into the link? I see a code that says, CDxxx (xxx being a particular number), is that it/all set up & ready to run?
