Why would new merchants have last compliance test = N/A?
Why would the last compliance test be N/A for a new merchant?

Also, given that it's been 22 days since the merchant started their SAS program, am I to assume the lack of compliance test means their tracking is not functioning?

To clarify, I sort of figured they'd have to pass compliance as part of setting up a SAS account. I'm not familiar with the merchant setup process.

As I understand it, the tracking test is the same thing. When the tracking test is successful it posts the date under "Last Compliance Test Completed."

So, to me, a company that has gone 21+ days without passing the test, new or not, is possibly not tracking at all. The just updated stats for this new company I'm promoting would seem to bear that out - all zeros.

I sort of assumed that any company listed on SAS would pass the test BEFORE they were listed, otherwise you'd have a situation where people are promoting them before they are proven to be tracking.

    (The company is GoGreenSolar, btw.)

As stated by Rolet, you can't open on Shareasale until you have the tracking installed and working. Any new program has working tracking. Unless they changed something on the site AFTER they were activated. All zeros for a new merchant is not unusual at all.

Ok, so I guess the compliance test date is just not updated upon first opening on SAS and passing the initial tracking requirement. Just an oddity, I guess.

    Thanks Rolet and Loxly.

    Mr C,

A merchant can't get on ShareASale without first passing through a tracking test - but this particular one doesn't look good, something is either wrong with their compliance test, or the tracking is broken. I will have a look at this and see what we can find...
    Thanks,

Thank you Brian, I had a feeling something was amiss.
