August 3rd was the 2nd year anniversary for ABW. As I started thinking back on the past year, much has happened here at ABW and there has been much growth. So I thought it would be fun to put together a timeline of memorable events at ABW over the last year.

Of course there were the pretty constant topics the pop up throughout the year such as:

Is Google dancing?
What is a Google Dance?
I love Google
I hate Google
Is Cj tracking?
Is Cj down?
I made my first sale
Please review my site
I'm new to affiliate marketing, what do I do?
Do you have a datafeed?
Ok, I got the datafeed, now how do I use it?
"Hi and welcome to ABW "
Do you associate with parasites?
Is chat down?
Should I do a sales or content site?

Aside from the usual discussions of affiliate marketing, here are some of the highlights from August 3, 2002 to August 3, 2003 that I found:

I know there are many, many worthy threads and events I've missed. There's just been so much that has happened. Feel free to post your own most memorable happenings the last year if they've been missed.

One thing is for certain. We have learned from each other. We have grown. We've shared our ups and downs. We made each other laugh and cry. We've been supportive of each other. We've been mad at each other at times. Basically, I guess we've pretty much acted like a family.

May the 3rd year of ABW show continued growth and just as many surprises along the way!

It's Your Money. You earned it. What are you going to do to make sure you get to keep it?

Wow, so much that has happened in a year's time and I remembered all but a couple of the smaller events.

Thanks for the memories, B'ster. Here's to ABW growing as much in the 3rd year as it did in the 2nd!

WOW, how do you remember all that stuff?

Really though, awesome post Ms. B - it really puts a neat perspective on things. Some things I forgot, and needed reminding again (btw).

Much success to everyone during AWB's next two years

Thanks for the memories! At year three we can go back and look at what the history here has lead to a year later.

Your post also reminded us of a couple members who have passed and no longer with us.

I was just thinking we have numerous awards here at ABW and it would be a fitting way to honour them by having their names on the yearly awards.

Thanks for the memories Ms.B. We have all seen the BHO's come upon the scene, hopefully in Y2004 we will see them exit as last year's Christmas shopping season focused us all on their financial impact on all of us. We are family and act according to family tradition. Thanks haiko and all you moderators for making ABW a worthwhile daily stop.

Cool Flashback.

There have been so many threads that I've looked back in said "wow - what a flashback". There have been some real joys and some real let downs for me and the Mrs over the last year but through it all - we keep coming back and we keep learning.

One important thread you missed was when Haiko let the world really know why he is still single:

http://abw.infopop.cc/6/ubb.x?a=tpc&...783#1026046783

I see you caught the post the same way I did but that was one time I said - I ain't stirring that pot! Well.... maybe I will now .

@ Em: Looks like I'll be paying for that one for a long time to come.

But just remember...can you say W**m?

@ Linda: Yes! May ABW grow 4 times as much this coming year as it did last year.

@ Chris: Oh my. I've always thought the words were "Memories light the corners of my mind." Wonder how many times I've bellowed that out and no one corrected me?

@ buy: Kind of does put things in prespective doesn't it? Did for me.

@ WW: Excellent idea. I just hope I didn't miss listing anyone. If I did, no disrepect was intended whatsoever.

@ Mike: A definite thanks to Haiko for making ABW a very worthwhile place that has endured all.

nova- can't wait to have an ABW Reunion

I agree! It would be cool to have a ABW Reunion, once most of us abw affiliates make enough $$$ we could set one up! That would be awesome! #1 freedom away from the J.O.B...

I've been waiting for one of these for a long time now Mrs.Happypoon. It would be really nice if we could have one this year.

quote:
Can you imagine how it would turn out?

Yep Charlie would spend the night flying around and dropping poo bombs on us all after eating a mix of guiness and curry

We all agree...Charlie gets a fresh wing clip before any official ABW reunions. When he gets drunk from chewing up bar straws with scotch inside he never falls off his perch. Maybe do a quick perch roll over, but he always holds on even if by only 2 claws. Parrot drunk tests are determined by the amount of time they take to get back in a upright position. They can beat an Irish drunk by 3 minutes.

Charlie looking fat-fed and happy before the world corrupted him.

Mike & Charlie ...

If they won't adopt and feed a bird ..flip them one! BBQ some Gator and remember to flush WhenU..

Great post,Ms.B it was a lot of good things happening, more than what the media want's us to know, it seems they only give us the bad news. For me, after losing my sainted irish rose almost 2 years ago, I was really down in the dumps, but family and many on the forum pulled me through. If it wasn't for the forum members, I still would be looking for my first sale, with S butthed, Ms. Loxly, epigae I am slowly turning it around, god bless you,Ireland and our Great USA.Haiko, my birthday is still Jan.18,1933, and I still don't type well.

I can't access those old posts. I'm getting error messages like:
1656058061 is an invalid value for m.
Please somebody fix this, I wanna stroll down memory lane, too!

EDIT: Oh crud, yet another resurrected thread from TWO YEARS AGO!
