    before publishing it?

I only know the file size when my pages are in Google and the information is there.

I would like to know the file size before I publish, so I can make is smaller if I have to before it's on Google.

Is there a way to know?

Right click the page in Internet Explorer, select properties you will see a listing for file size there. Then add up the size of any graphics (right click those too) that might be on the page and add that to the total.

There is an "about:" page in IE for that somewheres.. Will have to update this when I get on my Windows machine later.. (Currently browsing on Sun Solaris 9 with Opera 6.12)
