    Stimulus Payments Helping Sales?
I don't know about you guys but my conversion rates are up by over 75% due to these stimulus payments. Can't wait to see how the next few weeks go. Anybody else noticing a change?

Don't think it's due to that since they just started going out this month.

    Schedule of disbursement

    http://www.marketwatch.com/news/stor...6E2C2B32DE5%7D

Mine should be in the mail by May 16. And that's the earliest for paper checks. For Direct Deposit, the earliest is by May 2.

First wave of direct deposits went out on May 2nd and my conversion rate jumped immediately after.

    Conversion rate? Or sales?

Too early to tell for me, only 5 days in, and checks will be going out May, June, first part of July.

Conversion rate. Traffic is the same and these are fairly large sales, so it's gotta be the stimulus money.

It only stands to reason. Sales will go up. I got my payment last week since I had electronic payment set up.

Not taxed. It states so on the statement.

I had electronic payment set up and haven't received mine yet.

Scott, How can you be so sure that it's the impact of the rebate?

I think no one can be sure that it is due to the rebate.

But more money with people ($150 billion of it over 6 weeks) cannot hurt. It may not solve all the economic issues, though!

Personally, I think the current way of taxing people and paying with rebates like this is silly!. Alternate tax systems need to be looked into such as FairTax, National Sales Tax or other ways.

Google or other corporations would not have sent 1000s of American Jobs to Ireland except for the way our Tax system works (and now this rebate at a cost to the growing debt of the nation).

Each person receives their electronic payment on a specific day depending on the last 2 digits of their social security number, so your date may not have come.

I can never been absolutely sure, but it really is the best explanation I have for a conversion rate I only see in November and December. We'll see if there is an impact after each disbursement date.

In general, people have started receiving their refunds, there is no way you can tie a bump to the stimulus check..

The IRS changed the disbursement schedule again I think the update was on the 6th. If you had your refund direct deposited but had your preparation fees deducted from the refund or went rapid refund, you will now be receiving a paper check according to that schedule.

I thought mine would be here on the 2nd, but now that they put in the prep fee stipulation, looks like the 23rd.
