    Ooooooooooooooooo Iron Man is amazing!

They took a few liberties with the music that I wouldn't have, but it worked all the same.

Robert Downey Jr is AWESOME and I had no idea that Jeff Bridges played the villian. He did a fantastic job!

    Absolute must see.

Best comic book superhero movie... probably ever.

Better than Spider-Man... better than Batman ('89), better than the original Superman movies... what else? Better than X-Men... oh yeah - way better than Elektra

Not the best overall comic book movie though... I gotta give that one to Sin City.

Iron Man... casting was perfect, script was tight, pacing was just right, special effects were awesome without being over the top (unlike Transformers).

But you know what I liked best about it, what really struck me... was that when Stark was testing the pieces of armor, it was realistic. I was actually convinced that Robert Downey Jr. was floating three feet in the air when he was testing the boots. Seriously! It was that convincing!

After all these years watching these kinds of movies, you'd think I'd have learned to stay all the way through the credits... but I didn't

I want to see this. I'm usually one of the first ones to leave at the end but I'll have to stay now and check out the surprise.

I didn't stay through the credits either - now I'm thinking I might have to go see it again. (No complaints there - trust me!) I thought Robert Downey Jr. was absolutely fantastic . Definitely two enthusiastic thumbs way up.

My 7 year-old little boy really wants to go see this movie, do you think it's ok for that age group?

There's no rough language, but there is a bit of sexual content (nothing approaching real nudity though), but there's a ton of action and fighting... if your 7 yr old is a mature 7, then yeah, I think it would be okay. Did he see the Spider-Man movies? With the exception of the sexual content (which is only one scene, at the beginning), as far as the level of action and such, Iron Man isn't much different than Spider-Man.

For what it's worth, when I went, there were kids of all ages in the audience. Not sure that really helps, but there it is

Yeah, he saw all of the Spider-Man movies and loved them. He would just say, "Gross!" and look away from any kissing or anything like that. Because, you know, girls are icky.

    Thanks, that was very helpful.

My seven year old was fine. Couple of "scary bits" but he was good through it.
I have to see it again, without madawg and the puppies so I can pay a little more attention to it.
I really enjoyed this movie but it was really hectic and there were too many people. Normally I wait a week and see movies at the matinee by myself. This time we all went during opening weekend. That's not happening again, lol.

although ... speed racer ... then Indiana Jones ... then batman ... then hulk ... then .... I love blockbuster season!!

Been away, now I'm back. Not as much, but I'm back & starting from scratch. Where I was, was fantastic. Where I am now, less so. Things have changed, become harder. So have I. Game ON!!!

Excellent flick, definitely one of the best Marvel movies so far.

Besides the ones already mentioned, I'm also looking forward to Hellboy II: the Golden Army and Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.

Fun movie season with lots of related products...

    Movie was really good!

For those wondering to see it again to catch the clip at the end - I wouldn't go see it again just for that. (maybe I didn't appreciate it that much because I was never into the comic book.) You could pm me, and i'll let you know the gist of the last scene.

Thank you all for not revealing the ending.

But if you did, I'd have stayed all the way to almost the end of the show, then get up and walk out

    It was all right.
Thought the first was better even though I found the kids more annoying in that one.
Left the theater and we didn't want to rush back in like we did with Iron Man.
That's kind of how I can tell how much I enjoyed a movie. Based on how soon until I can watch it again. This one I'll wait until its a rental ... probably a weekly rental at that... to see it again.
Wasn't bad at all, just ... not spectacular.
