mygalaxy you are not able to send or receive PM messages at this time. And if you post contact info, that will be considered spamming, since you are new to the board.

DMOZ does not list affiliate sites. If the site is primarily content and has a few links they will accept it, but they really don't like bannerfarms, shopping directories, thin affiliate sites or MFAs.

If you go to DMOZ and search for their listed directories you can find 5 Main categories and many listings:

    http://search.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/searc...ch=directories

It's a good place to start looking for niche directories to get listed in.

There is a difference between directory submissions and search engines submissions, the tool above does search engine submissions. You don't need a tool to do that, you just need good inbound links

Consider purchasing WebPosition 4 ( Webposition Gold ) - I've had it for over 10 years and rely on it to keep me indexed regularly.

This thread was about where to submit affiliate sites, not merchant programs. So thinks like cooking directories or pet directories.

careful using it -- I remember someone at Google (for instance) that said they didn't like it. Uses too much bandwidth.

    Nah!

You have to stay within submission boundries.

It has the ability to post every single url of your site in one fail swoop, but google and many others have limits.

Google for instance wants you to stay within the 10 urls a day limit.

This takes time to get a 2200 page site like mine indexed, but I keep it on auto and run it 365 and it never stops.

I add new pages as needed and in theory, it will pick up on page changes every 220 days or so....

It hits 1000's of directories around the world, Yahoo, Msn, Google, Ask, etc.

Jst have to stay in the guidelines.

Like everything else that works, there are no shortcuts. -

using bookmarking sites is the fastest way to get your site indexed, at least in my experience. bookmark your home page, sitemap and joint pages and you should be good. it's been my experience that the SEs respond favorably to my sites when i don't submit them, but rather they "stumble" upon it.

    just my two cents
