    Are you an affiliate?

Wear a SUPPORT NY AFFILIATES button or t-shirt. Lug your bling around in a SUPPORT NY AFFILIATES tote bag or messenger bag.

    Are you a merchant?

Got a booth at a trade show or Affiliate Summit? Decorate it with a "WE SUPPORT NEW YORK AFFILIATES" banner, poster or bumperstickers. Let all affiliates know that your program is NY State affiliate friendly.

Links to "Support New York Affiliates" products:

    Buttons
    Womens T-Shirts
    Mens T-Shirts
    Stickers
    Bumper Stickers

    Got a website?

Proclaim your affinity for NY State affilite marketers with an attractive, easy-to-read 88x31 banner. (See bottom of post. Resize banner to 88x31 on your web page.)

    Great ideas Rhea.

Another idea is to keep this topic in the news, both online and offline. I have just fired off letters to the editors of all the local papers, both the major daily newwpapers and the small weekly & monthly local papers.

6/23: PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A PURCHASE OF "SUPPORT NY AFFILIATES" PRODUCTS FROM MY CAFEPRESS SHOP!

CafePress informed NY affiliates that they will be ineligible starting July 1st.

Tomorrow I will recreate the products on some other Print-On-Demand service. I'm too disgusted and tired to deal with it tonight. I'll post the link to the new shop as soon as I have it set up.

But arn't a lot of Cafepress Shops affiliated with NY Business that are owned by them. They have to collect tax regardless.

No Cafepress had no nexus in NYS and didn't collect NYS sales tax. But yes, you bring up a good point, Cafepress has shopkeepers in pretty much every state, that targets shoppers in the states they live in, so that may just establish nexus in almost any state.

If they read the tax law closer (I am going to reread parts of it also now) affiliates may be the least of their worries, the law states other types of online marketing falls into the establishment of nexus area.

Rhea, I'll remove the Cafepress link from my blog and will add your new shop in as soon as you have it. This is just unbelievable.

Links to "Support New York Affiliates" products:

    http://www.zazzle.com/we_support_new...45551790824453 - Bumper Stickers

    1. Not all the same kinds of products available on Cafepress were available on Zazzle, so fewer product types are available for purchase but there's a much greater variety of styles and colors of t-shirts available.

    2. Zazzle does not allow me to set up less than a 10% markup on items. I'll donate any profit I make on these products to a charity of my choosing (but suggestions are welcome).

    3. Thanks Deb for updating the links in my original post.

    4. I'm going to take down the products I created on Cafepress now.

No one has mentioned this idea for showing support for NY affiliates so again I lead the way with innovative ideas:

We establish a fund and all of us contrinbute monthly. The funds are then used to help NY affiliates relocate to a more affiliate friendly state!! I also have a few spare bedrooms at our place, so we can act as a covered wagon stop for those who wish to flee the tyranny of the N.E. and frontier their way west.

Don't ask me to explain where or how I come up with these life-changing inspirational ideas. Most here could never comprehend the process. Suffice it to say that I'm an Ideas kinda guy - it comes naturally to me!!

So who wants to step up and be the first contributor to the:

NYAMRF (NY Affiliate Marketers Relocation Fund)?
