Thanks. I wanted to confirm it wasn't an access problem on my end. It's been down about 10 minutes already.

I just tried and they are still down. I wonder what is going on. The widget I have on my website is still working though.

Can you actually click through and get to products? My product links don't go through. Interestingly, I have an email with order status of my own order and I can click through to a page at amazon that works (slowly). They must be having some big technical problems right now.

No, when I try to click though, I get the error page. It is the deal of the day widget and all the pics are showing up, including the lightning and best deals. I was just surprised that the widget is still up since they seem to be having some serious "technical" difficulties.

Just did some digging, and see that Marketwatch reported the outage (and the 3% the stock is down today), and also noted that no one at Amazon was available for comment.

LOL, they try to do the right thing and look what happens.

I was wondering if they have any equipment at The Planet which continues to have problems as they had another Generator failure today.

We're getting a message from Amazon this afternoon saying that we've been blocked because they think we are a robot or other animated service. Hardly. We sometimes do a lot of searches on Amazon for price comparison but I hardly see how that can be construed as automated.
I emailed the address recommended in the message to let them know that we aren't a bot. Let's see what happens...

Interesting. So I checked our router stats. We're being literally bombarded by DNS requests. Logging about 3500 a minute. Wonder what's going on??
