google working on net neutrality detector
I just saw on BoingBoing.net that Google is working on a Net Neutrality detector for use by its users. I.e., something that can detect if your ISP is favoring certain websites over others.

That was a completely unconstructive comment.

Google are not "partnering" with Yahoo, they are testing their ad system on their search as it is the most profitable solution for both of them. This is will not hinder competitiveness of sponsored search as Yahoo sponsored search was a) crap and b) a low market share anyway.

I will be interested in the neutrality project, Google has stated before it strongly supports net neutrality and this may be something they eventually work into their browser plans (if they make one....)

do you read the news? there's no testing going on, google/yahoo signed a deal that is going to show google ads on yahoo. google is going to eventually own 90% of ppc advertising. that's not good for business.

Yes I do but it's still not Google and Yahoo agreeing to be best friends, Yahoo is still Yahoo and Google is still Google.
