I must admit, this is a bit of a sticky situation.
We have contracted with a licensor to produce Betty Boop products. Since the product is also licensed by a competitor, we were asked to promote it only on our web sites and to our existing customer base. When I asked if affiliates could, pretty please, push these products, the Product Manager had to ask for permission. Basically, it was a no. So here is how I must ask that our partners deal with this decision:
1. Please do not place our Betty Boop products on your sites. It is not listed in the datafeed.
2. Please do not link specifically to Betty Boop product pages.
However, should a customer referred by an affiliate partner, purchase a Betty Boop product because they found it on 4Checks by searching, or they arrived on the Artistic Checks home page, the Image Checks home page or if they find it on Styles Checks home page or in the Collector's Edition category, you will absolutely still be credited for the sale.
Any violations of this deal could cause us to lose our licensing agreement, so please treat it with the utmost of care.Kim Salvino, Client Services Director, Performance Horizon Group
