Who's Razor am I thinking of?
"Often, the simplest solution/answer is the correct one".

So I've been very unproductive lately. Unfocused, uncaring, etc. It's been going on for about a month. And I thought it was the stress of changing careers, or the tax thing, or money, or whatever.

Then it occured to me as I was writing copy for a merchant store I'm setting up, this morning. (And I can witness it as I'm typing this now).

    I can't see anything anymore!

As I was reading manufacturer copy, and making into good web sales copy, I found that I was squinting, and it was really slowing me down.

So, appointment scheduled for Thursday for my poor vision, and what appears to be a modest double vision issue.

And who's Razor is the opening line from again?

Well I'm assuming you're not thinking of mine. (Razor - WHAAAT?)

Re: Vision issues. Every industry has its damage risks - vision issues is ours - that and wicked carpal tunnel syndrome (ow - and I can tell you ALL about that one!).

Hopefully your double vision not a sign of anything other than too much time on the computer and not enough sleep. For me personally, switching from liquid lunch to a booze-free one did the trick (and that annoying slurring problem went away too!). (jk)

    Hope you feel better soon!!

There is an eye doctor near me, has a glasses store in his office, everyone who walks in walks out with glasses.

Health department shut him down twice before but he still does it.

Same as the cinema and McD's, they're in it to sell and soda pop respectively...

I recently saw a specialist for the same thing and they recommend wearing a lower strength of 'reading' glasses for monitor use. The detail you want on a printed page can cause the poor brain to work overtime on interpreting when it's delivered in pixels. I cut back a step and it helps! I was down to working with one eye closed (without noticing it) to compensate for the double image.

My vision has been getting worse lately, too. Dave can tell (he says) because I get crabbier (didn't know that was possible).

I've always been severely nearsighted, but as I age and the far-sighted thing kicks in, my nearsightedness improves a little and I actually have to change ions about every 18 months.

    Arrrrrrrrrggg!
