I was credited for a sale that occurred after FTC closed its affiliate program. I wrote to SAS about it because I was confused that I could have received a commission from a company that had shut down its affiliate program. The answer I received explained that the shopper's computer had a valid affiliate cookie with my ID -- therefore I was compensated. That was a pleasant surprise.
SAS really does do things differently than the other networks.

I had a small FTC sale on 6/30 but was expecting to see it reversed. I don't know how Shareasale could pay it unless they have an agreement with FTC to honor commissions even after they close the program.
