Had this passed over to me a few minutes ago:

Dear XXXXXXX,

On Monday June 23rd 2008, Provide-Commerce, the parent company of ProFlowers, SecretSpoon and CherryMoonFarms, acquired the assets of RedEnvelope through a bankruptcy auction. As a result of the purchase, all previously owed affiliate commission will be paid in full by July 15, 2008. Commission from February 2008 to May 2008 has been paid in full as of July 9, 2008 and commission due from January 2008 will be paid on July 15, 2008.

We value your partnership and want to assure you that moving forward, all legitimate commission earned through the RedEnvelope affiliate program will be paid in full, and on time each month. Many of you already work with ProFlowers (or other Provide-commerce brands) and know that we consistently pay our affiliates on time and in full. We hope that you will re-activate any programs that have been paused in good faith knowing that we will do the same with RedEnvelope.

For those of you who are not familiar with ProFlowers or Provide-commerce, we are a 10 year old online-based company that owns several e-commerce brands and is wholly owned by Liberty Media, a publically traded NYSE company. Liberty Media, (NYSE: LINTA, LMDIA & LCAPA) owns or invests in top companies such as QVC, Backcountry, DirectTV, IAC/Interactive Corp, Star Media Entertainment, Expedia, Bodybuilding.com, TimeWarner, Atlanta National League Baseball Club Inc & others. What does this all mean? Simply put, RedEnvelope is now part of a family of brands that has strong financial backing and will pay its bills on time and in full.

I'd like to encourage you to either update or reactivate your RedEnvelope campaigns. And as an incentive, we've launched a Summer Sale Event to help drive orders by offering all consumers up to 75% off specific gift products. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions.

Sincerely,

Antonella Vernier
