Thumbs up 1,4 million people receive my newsletter next week -which affiliate program to choose
    Hey mates

New to this forum but not to internet marketing.

I created my account here with the intend to connect closer with merchants - if thats possible =)

The thing is, that I have been brought in on a big project. I am starting out by sending a newsletter to about 1,4 million people in Europe.

In this newsletter I have dedicated som space for a banner, where I will promote an affiliate program. I have made one rule, that is part of my overall plan to create dedicated subscribers: The affiliate program should provide real value to the prospect for free. By that I mean, that if I send someone (1,4 million) to another site, they shall be getting something for free before they sign up to a subscription or pull out there credit card.

I was actually going to use an affiliate program provided by Jeff Mulligan, but then I thought that I would try to post in here, and see what offers/ideas/suggestions I could get.

So my question is: Which affiliate program would you promote to a list of 1,4 million europeans that hasn't been segmented in to niches - yet. They soon will if my tech guys can get there thumb out of their..... =)
Remember that there need to be some valuable freebie to the prospects before they sign-up or pay for anything.

The newsletter will be sent out in a companies brand name, so the programme need raise the bar beyond porn =)

I hope you will welcome me and I would like to give my thanks in advantage for the replies on this thread.

    Best of luck,

    /Sub

Are those 1.4 million people who knowingly opted in to receive commercial mail?

    Hi Trust

Of course they are. When working for a client with a total of more than 4 million users we would never consider doing anything anywere near something that could be considered SPAM.

As I mentioned I am working on building a list of dedicated users. That wouldn't be the way to start, if they didn't even knew, they were subscribed.

I have been working with online comunication in Europe for 4 years, mainly coorporate style. But now I am moving into affiliate marketing as per request of my client. Therefore I am reaching for help, guidiance and maybee even deals here, since this is new territory for me. I got a pretty good idea on how I will seize the market.

After this newsletter is shipped, we will start segmentating people, which means that they once more will need to opt-in withing the niches that have there interest.

I understand and respect why you need to put a questionmark, but not all newcomers are here to SPAM which I have seen quite alot exambles of in here =)

All tranparent here mate - rock 'n' roll

I got a PM I see. I will have to let you know, that I cannot read these PMs yet, since I am new to this forum (due to fair restictions from ABestWeb)

So please post in this thread if you have any ideas, suggestions or even a product that suits the mentioned.

    Cheers.
