July 22nd, 2008, 04:59 PM #1Dining and Drinking at Affiliate Summit? UltimateFoodie has your back
Karen and Joel and I were asking ourselves that question, and even posted a thread on it asking the locals for advice... We decided to be proactive and over the next 2 weeks, we're be featuring podcasts with top Boston "foodie bloggers" to get us all the answers we're looking for.
This week, we'll feature interviews with Lauren from DrinkBoston.com on the cool spots to get a great "after Summit action" drink. We're also chatting with Marc from HiddenBoston.com about the best of the Boston restaurant scene that out of towners probably don't know about.

I just posted our podcast with Lauren Clark of DrinkBoston.com - she has some great suggestions for places to get a beer, glass of wine or a cocktail while in Boston for Summit. One of them was even on site at the Seaport Hotel.

Tomorrow I'll post our chat with Marc from HiddenBoston.com on the best bets for eating in Boston that may not be on the tourist maps.

I heard Morton's are really good but I haven't eaten there. I love steak, so I may have to check it out while I am in BostonDina Riccobono

Blue Ginger is a great restaurant...been there a few times. A couple things to note:
1. It's relatively pricey $30+ entrees
2. It's not in Boston. It's in Wellesley which is about 20-25 minute drive (no traffic) from Seaport Hotel in Southie.
