Mine is frozen grapes. Fairly cheap, good for you, taste great and help keep you cool.

I like 'em so much I had a ermmm... porcelain problem, the other night.

Paul Newman's . No oil, no salt. I just spritz it with a bit of olive oil and add some salt myself. Baseball, and a beer. Heaven!

I recently had a fresh, cold and crisp fruit salad with cantaloupe, watermelon, strawberries and (the secret) very finely diced habanero (about 1/8th of a whole pepper). So good I went home and made some for storage in the fridge.

I also really like chilled and spicy gazpacho...if we can ever get a fresh tomato around here this year!

yeah, not so much in the healthy category... frozen snickers. Technically you can freeze a snickers bar anytime, but I really don't except during the summer.

Ok so not the healthiest thing to eat (i don't think) but I like sliced mozzarella with a slice of tomato on top a little bit of olive oil and tiny bit of salt and paper (it’s my favorite little snack).

Snickers is my bar of choice. Never considered freezing one though. I'll have to try that.

Ours is to sit outside our favorite Starbucks and enjoy a couple strawberries and cream fraps.

If you're gonna talk fair food you've got to throw in the Funnel Cake.

As for the frozen snickers, they used to sell that at the swimming pool that I wen to as a kid. Just make sure they don't get too frozen, I broke a retainer once trying to eat one.

Watermelon sprinkled with salt. Somehow makes it sweeter.

Corn on the cob, grilled in the husk, then dipped in butter.

My birthday cake my wife always makes me - birthday was just a few days ago - yum! Still a little left, best summer cake ever! It's a vanilla or white cake that she makes holes in and pours jello (before it sets up) into the cake. Top with cool whip and sliced strawberries. Google "jello cake" to find it - here's one:

This cake is moist! Florida's a hot place and you need to keep your fluids up. This cake, when pulled from the fridge, cold and wet, really hits the spot and makes Donuts a very happy camper. I look forward to it every July, for my birthday - once a year special birthday treat I get from wifey. Nearly as enjoyable as special treat #2 that she gives me.

Drastic -- I have never tried frozen grapes. I definitely need to try that one out.

But I'm with Donuts and Gary in that I love watermelon. Up here we get so much fresh fruit we eat a lot of it, cherries, peaches, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries.... the list goes on. Yummm...

You don't like coffee? That's one of my favorite flavors
I went back to the ice cream parlor I worked at when I was 15 & 16 years old because I knew they made homemade butterscotch topping

I had a sundae with coffee ice cream, homemade butterscotch topping, homemade whipped cream and a cherry

One of the most moving [true] stories about summertime food was printed in The New York Times:

Potato chips - any day any time (actually several times a day).

And ice cream. I love French vanilla, slightly melted (25 seconds in the microwave) with boysenberry or blackberry preserves on top.

My two favorites! We're going to have to start planting our own corn, given the current prices in our area....
