I checked the logs for a site that gets almost no traffic. Needless to say, I get giddy when I see someone link to me.

I see a couple visits, enter the URLs for the referrers and to my horror, I end up in pop-up hell. Gator drivebys (is it worth two cents?) and pop ups for everything except pornography.

To make matters worse, it sets my homepage to a different pop-up hell (ooh, this one talks to me, asking what I plan on doing, just before flashing nudity!) and changes a setting in my registry so I can't change it to anything else, without first editing my registry.

A little surfing around Microsoft.com and I find the fix.

    That just fux0r3d my day.

Consistency is the key to a winning season.

I have a similar problem. If you find a fix, can you let me know? Thanks

Aside from the www.lavasoftusa.com Ad-Aware program or SpyBot R&D you might try the solutions outlined here http://abw.infopop.cc/6/ubb.x?a=tpc&...444#2506012444
