Care To Share Download Speed Test - DSL
I just upgraded with the local ISP to their 3 mb plan from 1.5 mb. My CPA neighbor down the hall was eating the bandwidth with his movie downloads. He is going to cover the increased cost so no problem there. I just wonder how typical our speed is.

I used Speakeasy and got: 2568 kbps down and 433 kbps up. That's just running my PC on the local network right now.

Using your link I got 1023 down and 325 up
My speeds always depend on where the proxy is today. Sometimes I'm in MD sometimes TX. Whenever they switch I need to do a manual DHCP Renew in the router or get really crappy speeds. Cable is not an option for me so mine is satellite.

My local ISP sucks, everytime it's thunder or heavy rain around the area, my DSL go out of line intermittently.

I just used that link to test my speeds, not that good results, but considering other factors, not too bad either.

Surprisingly...at the Boston Seaport Hotel during Affiliate Summit:

    Download Speed: 22446 kbps
    Upload Speed: 12259 kbps

Not too shabby for "free" hotel internet service.

Hmm... I'm getting 6246 kbps download and 324 kbps from my room at the Seaport. It's still pretty good, though, and they don't restrict you to just port 80 like many other hotels do. Let's see how it does tomorrow when there are a lot more people trying to get IP addresses from the routers all at the same time.

I have the 1.5 mb DSL, and here are my speeds:

    Download speed: 1287
    Upload speed: 189

Not too bad considering the fastest I can get with DSL in this area is the 1.5 mb plan, still waiting on them to upgrade to something faster...

Our old 1.5 mb plan was $35 per month and going to the 3 mb plan bumped it up to $55. When I'm the only PC running on the LAN 1.5 mb is plenty, but when others start playing with fun downloads they suck up to much bandwidth.

Really an amazing range of speeds.

I'm wondering who the provider is on this one.

Business Cable , it is more expensive than non-business cable at least twice as expensive.
