Tricks of the trade. Here are a few merchants and some tricks to max out your revenue with them.
Friendfinders: Pay twice a month. Lots of genre sites. The percentage program can make you some money. The key trick is to make sure you send
the majority of your visitors from the USA or Canada or places which actually can afford to purchase a month or two. You can INCREASE your percentage
payout, if you send 100 or more unique clicks per day. Say you make a sale for $60 ... if you have sent less than 100 clicks in that day you make 35%.
But if you send 100 clicks or more you make 50% or 55%. In addition you get some chump change for FREE members ... and that adds up if the daily unique count is over 100 for the day they join.
EBAY: People always seem to go for registrations since they tend to pay the most money ... But that may not be the best strategy. EBAY has a 30 day cookie, so the more cookies you set the more money you can make, since once you find that sweet spot number, you almost always have a few guys winning a bid every day.
EBAY is both a numbers game and a targetting game. If you search EBAY for various auction niches, you can target those particular auctions. In addition, you can also target specific products auctions. This trick probably results in the most registrations, since you can't bid if you are not registered and a registration needs a bid to qualify for the commission. But believe it or not, a huge number of sales occur by people 'buying it now.' Patience is not much of a virture for people who really want what they want. And you win whenever that happens.
If you load the EBAY pipeline with about 2,000 visitors per day, you will start to make money. Sometimes the daily number will be small, sometimes not so small and sometimes you hit the motherlode.
They key is how much does it cost you to send EBAY at least 2,000 visitors per day. If you can accomplish this trick for between $300 & $600 per month, you can make a consistent month after month profit.
AMAZON: People buy from Amazon because they trust the brand. In general the affiliate program sucks since there are a ton of affiliates and commissions are small. However, the commissions go up based on ITEMS SOLD. So, a key Amazon trick is to sell as many ITEMS as you can so you make more commissions. If you target niches with high turnover products you can max out the commission cap by selling a bunch of chump change items. Once you do that trick during any month and reach the top commission level, then go for the bigger ticker items. Hint: one of the best ITEM sellers on Amazon is diapers. Early in the month you want to send lots of traffic to Amazon. Once you have maxed out the commission cap, then go for higher ticket specific products. Always tell your potential Amazon traffic, that IF their order is $25 or more, they get FREE Shipping. Do so almost always generates an extra $5 per day in YOUR Amazon commission over the course of a month.
You can use a similar strategy to max out earnings Drugstore.com. Pick a product at Amazon and see what the price is, then look for the same product at Drugstore.com and IF it is less in total - you have a winner. Because you can legitmately say it's X amount cheaper than on Amazon.
In general, to make a CONSITENT PROFIT - you need to know your average cost you pay for click from all sources, plus your hosting and connection costs and your average revenue per click from all sources.
The one thing ANY REVENUE always does is lower your average cost per click.
And a PLUS ONE CENT means profit and you can continue in definitely as a business if that is the case.

Yeah, thanks, Druid. Especially for your comments about eBay. Most of my efforts in recent weeks have been toward the EPN program. I'm starting to get a steady flow of clicks through my sites, but not much income yet.
I'm going to spend some time this weekend looking over your comments again and how they apply to my EPN sites.Generate more fake news.
