Anyone have any great user experience with a graphics optimization tool?

I want to reduce the weight of some thumbnail images in batch mode.

    I'm looking for recommendations.

    Regards,

Fireworks MX works wonders in scaling down image sizes and speeding downloading of images.

    Do you have PhotoShop?

PhotoShop will create thumbnails for you in a batch mode. It also has a batch mode where you can record your actions and play them back again.

When you run the batch, you give it a source directory and a destination directory. Works well and I've used it for similar tasks.
