August 15th, 2008, 06:37 PM #1Thank You, Haiko, For the Forum
Thanks to Haiko for creating this sub forum for loyalty sites and those who work with loyalty sites to be able to post in. Often we do not post about issues facing our sites in particular because either we know that we will be slammed just for talking about our sites or we do not want unethical loyalty sites to be a part of the discussion.
Hopefully this will give us a place where we can post openly and find ways to educate each other.

Haiko, I am thrilled about this. As the outspoken member of the Sunshine group, this is great for me cause I can say exactly how I feel and not get tarred and feathered for it. Tricia, great job suggesting this. Thanks to you both. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions for other loyalty site people.

What a great idea! I can't wait to talk with others about this business. We have a lot to discuss. Thanks for a allowing us a safe place to talk about issues and share ideas.

Glad for the forum also.
We operate in many areas of affiliate marketing but really feel loyalty is a great avenue. Like many of you I am tired of the bashing. Interesting how many bash the models others participate in yet never look in their own mirror.I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die
to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there
isn't and die to find out there is.

I am glad this was created as I work with a handful of loyalty sites that I have screened. I get inquiries regularly about certain ones and it helps to work with a circle of trusted partners.

We are primarily a merchant [without an affiliate program] and secondarily an affiliate with dynamically selected (based on inventory level) affiliate links on the website. I'm considering development of an aff program and moving the affiliate side into it's own site and separate the two. Some good (without malice) discussion here should help with decisions I have to make regarding the affiliate channels we'll utilize.

I'm thrilled to part of this sub-forum. Thanks to Haiko for creating it, and for Tricia for the idea.
There is a definite distinction between loyaltyware and loyalty sites. A few years ago, I would have grouped them together, but I am wiser now and look forward to learning and sharing with the good guys.Kim Salvino, Client Services Director, Performance Horizon Group
