Content site - static or dynamic?
I'm building my first content site. Its going to contain a ton of content pages. Should I build static html pages or dynamic ones (database driven)? Which is better for SEO etc? I'm leaning towards database driven site, as its very easy to manage.

It doesn't matter. I have some static sites and some dynamic database ones and the SEs find all the pages just the same on either type.

I use php and mysql to drive them.

Yep, easy management is the way to go. Be sure to use mod_rewrite for clean and purty URLs.

OK, not sure how it works, shouldn't be difficult to learn.
    Thank you.

I think there are especial add-on modules that make this work easily with some popular content management systems like Joomla.
