    Preferences Defaults
First off, Popshops is the creme de la creme de la creme. It's added years of meaningful living back to my life!

I don't know if it's possible, but it would be great if there was a way to somehow create "preference default sets", e.g., each time you start a new shop, you can select from a dropdown menu of pref defaults, similar to the style sheets—a shopt would start with your own "master default" set. Optimally, this would include your default custom sheet, number of cols., and all the other goodies in the Preferences panel. But even if it could only pertain to the Preferences section, this would be almost better than sex.

I would agree that this is a great idea. I HATE having to constantly resize the shop when I create it, locate the merchant or group of merchants I know I want to use, and other stuff. It would be useful to have that established in some sort of template I could label and just click on.

Uh, but, "almost better than sex" -- not sure Mrs. writerguy and I would agree with that one??

As they say, "almost doesn't count"—that's why I wrote that.

You can set up your own set of vendors. Go to "All Merchants (no filter)" and click on filter. It takes awhile to load, but you can then select the vendors you want and create various "sets" as you need. They will show below the "All Merchants" in a dropdown.

Life will be so much easier with "preference default sets".

    Red face
i mentioned this many moons ago...........there is a browser macro pogram called iMacros......there is a firefox extension that is free............it doesn't work well if you have a slow internet connection, but it certainly gets rid of some of the humdrum like this post mentions............for IE diehards, they say that version is payfer............

I am not associated with them nor am trying to advertise them, just like the program very much.............
