    Improved Merchant Status Info
    Hey it's good to see CJ now send emails that explain why the merchant is no longer active. Before it was difficult to know whether the merchant had just deactivated you or if it was CJ that deactivated them. I won't post the email as it has a strict privacy statement on them but it clearly explains that the merchant has been deactivated by CJ. This was one of the things I mentioned needed improvement in the survey they had recently.

    They are also sending emails if a merchants I was affiliated with gets reactivated on CJ. I just received one.

    We received a notice today of a merchant that we belong to that was never listed on the inactive list to the best of our knowledge and the letter says has been "reactivated".

    REI

    and one that says it has been reactivated and that we are active but what we have is a "pending application"

    We had a bookmark for the inactive merchants that we visited every morning but since these letters having started going out our bookmark doesn't work anymore.

    We have to check the list again by going through the old report function.

    and now I just received -

    We wanted to let you know that Moosejaw, one of the advertisers you are joined with in the Commission Junction network, has been reactivated.

    They weren't inactive.

    Over the past two days I also have received the "reactivated advertiser notification" for REI, plus a couple of others. I never even knew they were deactivated. Are these reactivation emails due to a technical glitch? If not, doesn't CJ also send out emails when the advertiser first gets DEactivated? (again, I never got any notification of deactivation, only reactivation)

    That's right. I have been getting quite a few reactivation emails for vendors that were never deactivated. I think its a glitch.

    Yeah, I received two of those reactivation emails this morning, both for merchants who were never deactivated to begin with...
