If a customer reports their item was received totally mangled, what do you do? I'm talking by the post office or whatever here - just so it's more relevent, what if an International customer emails you and says their item arrived in pieces in the mail?

I'm not a merchant but I do claim to be an expert in customer support services. I'd probably respond with something like.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. I'ts always a pleasure to get feedback from our customers. We would love to help you but we need additional information before we are able to help you.

Did you find the expoxy glue that was included with the shipment?

Thanks agian for contacting us and we look forward to the opportunity to do much more business with you in the future.

    Have a fantasic day!

Child labor laws exist yet, parasite partnering merchants (PP Merchants) and the COC allow an adult affiliates income to be diverted into the pockets of parasites and consider it normal business!

Why give parasites unlimited cookie durations and credit for sales where they divert our users and overwrite our cookies. PP merchants and the COC directly supports what many consider unfair trade practices, identity theft and thievery!

We ship all our orders with insurance, so its no problem.
We file a claim and ship a replacement order out.

Not quite sure what you mean by "I'm talking by the post office or whatever here". If UPS or FedEx was used, they automatically receive $100 of free declared value "insurance". Don't know what, or if the Post Office has an automatic amount of declared value for each shipment.

It's looking like things are really different between Australia and the USA. I guess the important thing is what Pay Pal's reaction will be.... or her credit card company for that matter.
