I would save my money and not use safelists.

Medgen...Basically, a safelist is a group of people all willing to receive each others promotions via email --in the hopes that their promotion will generate more business. In other words, safelists are many, many "marketers" that have agreed to receive each others email. The drawback is that everyone is trying to sell and no one wants to buy.

Don't waste your time. The only way email marketing works is to build your own quality double-opt list, and provide your readers with quality news and information, and not just advertisements. Managing an email Marketing program is another monster to have to tackle.

Well, safelists will probably fit nicely with your garbage traffic MLM business...

I suppose that was a little mean-spirited, to use a popular phrase, wasn't it?

actually, i just started my site 2 days ago. haven't even advertised it yet. but that's fine, say what you want and continue to promote your online garage sale. looks like a bunch of crap you dug out of the garage and posted for sale online.

Inappropriate attack that is based on a knee jerk reaction to a truthful statement, I'd suggest you apologize and rethink the positioning and marketing of your TE, as well as work on your people skills.

BTW, my saying garbage traffic wasn't meant to be a slam on your business, as in garbage business. I call low quality traffic "garbage", and that is the traffic you're peddling. Now, MLM is another story...

May just happen. Takes quite a lot more than a juvenile low blow to get my ire up. Don't think I'll engage...

These were known as Traffic Exchanges in the "old" days (6 years ago). Yeah, I tried one way back then. And, as others have described, they were a waste of time. The one I tried was credit based, the more you click, the more credits you got.

Their huge flaws are that they seriously lack numbers and incentive to view your site is artificial. Instead of the whole world seeing your site via targeted searches, you get a relatively small group seeing your site out of need for credits. Result is virtually no conversion, however you define conversion.
