    Red face Hmmm??? Question!
    I got the new debit card as partner, I had a question maybe someone one here could answer. I posted the banner, then i had a thought, I could use this card, So I applied, and at the last page it said "Due to the overwhelming response, please call 1-888--------- no where in the promotion does it say it tracks the phone calls. Any thoughts out there.

    Looks like they are trying to cheat their affiliates out of their commissions.

    Get rid of them and promote another merchant.

    Ok so i have taken them down for now, I will post them again in one week and then I will try again. Doesn't cj do anything about these types if this is true, they probably do. They just appeared yesterday on CJ. When they did, I applied because I have been pending with the other ones for 2 months.

    I'm sure they do when they know about it, however I'm not sure what type of quality control they perform on merchant sites and how frequently. My guess would be that most problems of this type are discovered by an affiliate who then reports it to CJ.

    I would recommend contacting the merchant and inquiring about their phone tracking. If the response you get isn't satisfactory, then you should report them to CJ. You should also post the name of the merchant here to warn others to avoid their program if in fact they are attempting to cheat affiliates. That's one of the purposes for a community like this, sharing of information.

    I just emailed and asked about the phone tracking. I see my click on CJ, I didn't know we could post the name here, I will wait though unless you all would like to know you can message me. I would feel horrible if it were a temporary glitch and I posted the name of a merchant here saying to stay away. Lots of people read these.

    Yes. But it would probably be best after you have more information or are convinced that the merchant is doing something wrong. I believe it would be appropriate to give the merchant an opportunity to respond before making a public accusation. You wouldn't want to wrongly accuse the merchant if they are not doing anything wrong.

    Post the name of the merchant here so that the rest of us can avoid them as well or perhaps point it out to CJ in addition.

    Vision Premier Prepaid Visa is the name, they have not responded to my question seeing that I asked the question this morning, so I am not too sure if there system is overwhelmed but according to their criteria
    ActionCriteria The customer must successfully complete an application
    If this is the way their company is you cannot successfully complete a application. I will post once they respond.

    There is no contact info. on their Advertiser Detail. Who did you contact?

    I would report this to CJ right away.

    I asked a question in the contact us section in CJ yesterday, asking whether or not they knew if the Vision had phone tracking and advised of the end page that says Due to overwhelming response blah blah, still not a email from the affiliate manager.

    Still no response, I applied for mine and I called I got "approved", and no sale/lead from them, so I assume that they don't provide phone tracking. So please be wary of signing up with them. I still have not heard back from cj either and usually they are very quick to answer my questions. Also could be it is that time of month when they get alot of questions about pay. I will be patient. If I hear anything I will post it here.

    If you want to replace that merchant with another one, you can try the independent program at cardoffers.com. I make sales from them every once in a while even though that isn't my niche and their affiliate manager posts on abw.
