Ticket affiliate program with quality datafeed
I'm looking for a tickets affiliate program (concerts, sporting events, etc.) that has a datafeed with the ticket price in it for a given event, or some other ability to query this information.

Doesn't matter which network it's on or if it's in-house. Preferably one without a ridiculously high service fee for the consumer.

    Any suggestions?

buy.at has a Ticketmaster program and it's our exclusive. You can learn more about it and sign up here

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Isn't it a low-paying tiered commission schedule at Ticketmaster?

    Low paying commission...

    Tough question...

    Let's walk through an example...

You sell a $50 ticket on your site but you only make $0.50

That doesn't sound like much about 1%

But consider that you are actually being paid as a share of what Ticketmaster makes. With that in mind, let's say Ticketmaster is making $5.00 and you made $0.50.

Suddenly that is 10% of TM's money and that is if TM makes $5.00...

We all gotta get paid that much is for sure, but we gotta try and make the advertiser some money as well.

    Hope that clarifies some.

I know Ticketmaster owns Ticketsnow, which starts at a 7% payout, just the affiliate program isn't through buy.at yet AFAIK. That's the business model and a payout closer to what I'm looking for.

im a bit of a noob

    what does AFAIK mean?

as for ticketsnow...you never know what the future will bring...TM might change its program to meet TN or the other way around.

what i can say about the difference between the two though is that TM is a primary ticketing company, which means it has huge volumes of tickets. TN is a secondary ticketing company, so they have lower volumes of tickets.

lower volumes usually mean less sale opportunity...but in the end it is all a question of what tickets you are selling and who you are selling to?

as always, knowing your business will definitely help you make better cash.

AFAIK = as far as i know

And I see Ticketmaster has ticketexchange.com as part of its current program, which also pays 7%? http://www.ticketmaster.com/affiliat...es_commmission

Regardless, I'm still looking for something that pays ~7%+ that has this datafeed or search by price feature, if anyone has any suggestions.

I was wondering about this tonight, found this in the TM program details

....In place of the Basic Referral Fees indicated above, the Ticketmaster Street Team Program will pay a Percentage Referral Fee as follows:

For all Ticketmaster TicketExchange Resale tickets:

7% for all confirmed purchases. Commissions will be calculated based on the purchase value of the ticket and will not include taxes, shipping charges, and other similar fees.

For TicketsNow Resale tickets (Coming Soon):

7% (Seven percent) for all confirmed purchases. Commissions for Resale tickets will be calculated based on the purchase value of the ticket and will not include taxes, shipping charges, and other similar fees.
    ....
So it looks like ticketsnow will be rolled into the program.

Let's hope it's soon. I'm still looking for ticket programs with decent datafeeds, if anyone has a suggestion. Any network or in-house is fine.
