in previous times, an hour or two of lack of sales can bring a flurry of posts (whinings) in ABW

Maybe the times have changed and the active posters these days realize there will be slumps in sales.

Talk about sales are really from newbies
You know the 'Hey I made my first sale' Threads
As we are getting more experienced I think the novelty soon wears off and one gets down to talking business

Sales(talk) in a nut shell... buy a domain... develope an easy to navigate site.... add good content... do some SEO research... Do some SEO... Add some content... Add some conetent... maintain the content... Be helpful if a user e-mails with questions. Rinse and repeat.
    Thanks,
    Doug

Nah, in tough times the smart merchants take every advantage they can, and that's security for the affiliate marketing industry...

It's because you haven't posted in a year, those type of posts have went down. But it seems like you're itching for those type of threads, end of affiliate marketing type of threads again. I'm glad those type of threads have died down and people, for the most part, have actually progressed beyond that type of thinking. It just holds them back.

I get sales every month. If you don't you're doing something wrong.

you mean, there's no more whining because no sales is expected anyway?

you only whine when you know there must be some sales and you're not seeing it.

I did a few satellite sales sites for a client who was selling private labeled Air Purifiers. Crowded marketplace there with a bunch of major brands. His sales were so good the parent manufacturing company threatened to cut him off if he didn't raise his advertised "private brand" products to their label's full list price... LOL.

Seems my sites got first page search buying term exposure in all SE's. He wants me to change the fast selling promos and up the regular prices. Meanwhile my advice is sue the OEM bastards and jump on some Korean and Chinese mfgr's, who wholesale products with superior features for 1/3 his manufacturers current cost. Moral of story is have a good product, great product passion, and respect for your customers pocketbook.
