You already have two sites. Why don't you start with where your site traffic are? If your sites are about sports, find good sports merchants and join them; If your sites are about cars, find auto merchants and join them.

mayfly has the best advice. You need to decide what you want to sell on your sites, then find the merchants that have what you want to sell, then pick the network that has that merchant available.

thx all for reply me.... I am so touched

@loxly, I read your recent post about everything here to be frank I do understand your argument.

Should I explain more about my situation.

My boss give me two weeks (it have already done 1 week already) and prepare for him a marketing plan of our affiliate network program.

Yes yes, I know it is crazy. I have never done Affiliate program before and my boss ORDER me to give him a 10 pages + reports about affiliate program!

I order the books from Geno Prussakov, go through it within 2 days. then start lurking all the info I got on the web.

Personally I have two website that can used for testing. However time is limited.

I totally understand direct comparison is meanlingless as different program target different things.

    Let me clarify my question.

In YOUR situtaion, How would u decide which affiliate to join?

Lets make an example. ACME site is technology related site, it would like to provide offers from one of the mentioned network, let's assume you were the web admin, how would u choose which Program to use??

    1. no. of merchants offer?
    2. max merchants payout?
    3. datafeed and support
    4. affiliate manager relationship?
    5. history with the mentioned networks
    6. comment from affiliate forum
    7. other affiliate suggestion?
    8. exposure of the network in ad-tech? affiliate submit
    9. any other points?

Belief me, I have read through those sticky msg already and I just want to know for the mentioned points, are they all equal important or some points is MORE relevant to YOU?

    just a thought

    thx anyway for ur reply.

The reply I gave you still holds true. Your boss needs to decide what you are going to sell and then you find who sells it that has an affiliate program. No one can tell you what affiliate network is the best for you and your situation.

Your list of questions are good, but it needs to pertain directly to your website. None of us can tell you what is the most important, all the points you bring up are important, with the MOST important being: What can you promote to your traffic.

    I agree with mayfly.
I know it can be a little hard to go through all the data so post your questions. The board is very helpful.
