Ad impression being different from actual click? I know after a click, in the first 30 minutes, there is a 60% conversion rate. Then an additional 30% within a week. I try to send my visitors to the merchants site with the credit card already whipped out.

    This was a suprise

quote:
monitoring revealed that only nine to 11 percent of the campaigns' total conversions occurred within three hours of the impression being served.

I would have guessed that figure to be about 75%.

    On a similar tack...

We've also been tracking an interesting phenom in that about 20% of our customers register with us (without making a purchase), and then return to buy 3-4 days later.

People generally like to know what they are buying. Maybe they are lurking first until they finally buy.
