Do I need hide the tracking code?
    Hi,

I'm still pretty new at all of this and wondered whether it is necessary to hide the tracking code for banners I'm adding to my sites?

    Thanks!

Usually tracking codes are very very small images that almost nobody will noticed anyways.

Don't hide the tracking code. People don't really pay much attention at it

Not sure what you mean by "hide the tracking code". If you want to keep the aff link from displaying in the status bar at the bottom, that's not a bad idea. We do that on our site. It makes for a cleaner look and reduces visitor confusion. Otherwise, there's no way to keep someone from getting the links from your site if they really want them.

Agreed - just personal preference. You can check a box in CJ when pulling html for a link to "encrypt" - this will jarble the code so it's not obvious to a normal user what your tracking id / PID is. But when you click through, the PID reveals itself anyways. So you can still be found by your advertiser's in most cases.
