October 3rd, 2008, 02:39 PM #1Need suggestion for a search program
I use the php versions of GoldenCan and PopShops. On one of my sites I am using the google site search to search across my site but I notice that it does not read the goldencan or popshops data. For example if I put "Cleveland Indians" in the google search, I get 1 result even though I have numerous merchants that carry Cleveland Indians gear - Dick's, FogDog, Football Fanatics, etc.
Can anyone recommend a search program that will read all of the data from the php feeds on my pages and work as a search engine. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Danny W Bonin Jr

I second Burger Boy's recommendation of Sphider. Your results page is quite customizable and the keyword phrase logs can be exported. Best of all: your data belongs to you, only you.Renée
