    Does CJ guarantee payment?
I have over $XXXX amount in locked commission which advertiser chosen not to pay as October commission (funny but true). I am wondering will CJ ensure that they don't keep on delaying the payments and pay us on time next month atleast?

I thought advertisers put money with CJ which CJ uses to payout. How can advertiser delay payments?

Hi GodMode, I had a similar thing happen last month but it was only a small amount and they paid this months, it is annoying, irritating but I think it is a budgeting issue on the advertisers side.

It has always been the case for me that the locked commission is the amount I will get paid on the next payment date. So from my four+ years experence you wil get paid your locked amout next payment.

Extended amount (extended sales) are not garenteed.

Seriously annoying. We spend money on PPC, we make the LP, we sell the thing and finally advertisers make us wait and wait for the money.

I find some merchants at Linkshare even worse then at CJ. At Performance/Google I have no clue who owes me what, I just cash the monthly cheque and hope I getting paid what I am due.

Shareasale has a nice little info on each advertiser.

Low balance/Auto Charged. Avoid advertisers with low balance, never know what will happen to them

I don't think any network guarantees payment. Everything is ultimately up to the merchant to pay.
