Talking What company would you recommend for me?
I'm a college student interested in starting to make some cash with affiliate marketing and i'm not too sure where to start.

I'd probably prefer CPA / lead generation over commission, but anything works.

If you have a company that you're working with or have heard good things about that you think is suitable for me, post it here .

    Thanks...

**I wasn't sure where to post this , so it might need to be moved .

Lead and CPA wise I'd say DirectLeads.com, PartnerWeekly.com, MarketLeverage.com are three good places to start.

I can't speak to that, but they are good solid cos, if they don't approve you then ask them how to build a better site(s).

If you're still looking for companies that are strong in lead generation, you can try Search4Clicks.com. They are in Education Lead Generation and have responsive account representatives.

I monitor their affiliate compliance, I am not actually an affiliate representative.

I'll use the education sector as an example, but there are other verticals that use this approach.

You partner with a network or school that their goal is to find new students to enroll in classes.

You build a site with pertinent information and resources that appeal to that demographic. Either young students that have received a GED or just graduated or possibly people that are looking to change careers..etc. When you drive traffic to the form and people fill it out, you get paid your affiliate commission.

cost per "action" or cost per "lead" = someone filled out a lead form.

Just to state this up front since many will view this post, most networks and schools monitor conversions very closely (meaning do your leads ever turn into actual students). So it is not recommended to join with the idea that either you or your friends could fill out the forms with bogus information and get paid for them.

    Hope this helps.
