    Hi All,

After using Road Runner for a few years now, I dread opening up my email boxes. Just way too many spams coming in. Plus I have a couple computers on wireless and I don't feel like going through and trying to figure out how to set the rr acts up on the newer computers.

Anyways, are there any good free email services out there? Is yahoo a good one? I believe they are free. I want something I can check anytime from any computer. Thanks for any suggestions

Mail.com's free service is fine if you can stand having tons of popups...

Netscape (Netscape.com and click "mail"top left)
    Hotmail
Yahoo ( check your bulk folder if you can't find expected mail)
Lycos ( I think they are still free)

    etc etc

Just use an email account that should be included with your web hosting account and be sure not to post the address on your web sites or ay web site. Many web hosters also have online interfaces to your email account.

    I highly recommend this one:

Click My Email at the top.

    I use that and hotmail.

I don't understand why you would want a free account when you are in this business and can do whatever you want. I would be willing to bet you can check your existing email via the web from any computer now? That's what I do.

My first email account was with excite.com and I still use it as my personal account without any problems. I know when I taught a lot of my students used hotmail, but I'm not all that familiar with it.

If you have a cable modem, then you should be able to get a free acount; we're with comcast and have one, but don't use it.

Finally, what about through your website? I have my business/affiliate stuff all go through that one and it is included with my webhosting fee.
