Scholastic Removal from Program for Complaining
I told them to stop sending me crap emails of just one big image in the email so they sent this:

You are receiving publisher notices as a result of applying to our Affiliate program through CJ. If you didnít want to receive these type of notifications then you should not have applied.

You have been permanently removed from our affiliate program.

    Thanks!
So if you complain to this outfit then they will dump you without any communication etc. I really don't care since they don't convert for me and I would much rather spend my time promoting converting merchants this holiday season anyway.

WOW, WOW WOW, Doesn't CJ offer you the choice of opting out? IF there was a option to opt out wouldn't communications from those advertisers be considered spam and against TOS for CJ???

I guess that is what it means concerning either side can terminate the agreement at any time and for any reason. So if we just act as good affiliates and never disagree with anything then we will be OK? Although it makes me wonder if you had made some good sales with them, would you have sent the email worded the exact same way?

Wow, overreacting much? talk about some anger management issues with that AM. You're probably better off without having to work with someone like that IMO.

thanks for the feedback, I do take some responsibilty for it but still it is bit of an over reaction just to deactivate an account like that. Just for the record I had made sales with them in the past too. Now lets all be good kids and don't complain

    IMO = In my opinion.
IMHO = In my humble opinion.

    Both totally cholesterol free.

Love the "Thanks" at the end of the email.

Maybe reply back with a "Your Welcome". You know, you wouldn't want to be rude.

People sending out emails that consist entirely of graphics remind me of Microsoft's first attempt at "export to HTML" for Microsoft Word, which consisted of turning the whole document into a huge .bmp graphic image and wrapping it in HTML statements.

They'd be better off just sending a link to an HTML page. Graphics via email is inefficient - it has to be converted to 7 bit encoding and stored on email servers throughout the transit.

That certainly wasn't polite on their part. I haven't done well with their program anyway, so might just drop the affiliation.

Thumbs down Thanks for the post
I will be avoiding that company you can be sure. Don't these idiots realize that we affiliates talk to each other?

I also love the "Thanks". He thought he was kicking your azz but in reality it's their affiliate program that will suffer as we stay away in droves.

    They don't get much dumber
