All,

Pursuant to many private inquiries, I have confirmed with CJ that up to 40% of clicks since the 20th around 11 am are NOT being reported due to a programming error. They [CJ] are aware of the problem and have 5 tech ops on the job of importing the data (clicks and sales), "sales will not be lost".

Actually ... We didn't know for sure ... But some of us had suspicions.

As a matter of fact ... CJ's last post on the topic said there was no problem with clicks or impressions.

It was only late today that is was confirmed.

Still, I maintain that pretty much everyone did know that things weren't right with CJ. Were we able to prove it? No, of course not. But, knowing something is so and being able to prove it is so are two diferent things.

    We knew.

My click thrus seem to be normal today but leads are none since about 7:00 this morning. Ripped again. If anyone believes that commish tracking will not be affected I have 10 acres of prime land(already subdivided) in Florida adjacent to the Everglades. The water system is already in place . I will entertain all offers.

Thanks for the info. I had strong suspicions, but I usually refrain from posting about CJ since Leader usually says everything is fine anyways.

Thanks Haiko for the update! Wish they'd put something up on the CJ panel. I almost had a heart attack until I came here and saw your welcome post

    Haiko,

Thanks for taking the time to verify the tracking "suspicions" and putting a tangible number to the degree of the problem. If you learn of any developments for the problem being resolved or (lord forbide) the problem taking longer than anticipated to resolve, I'm sure many here what welcome and appreciate your sharing the information.

Your time and efforts are appreciated by many here.

I AM NOT PAID FOR CLICKS!

And neither are any other sale- or lead-program affiliates at CJ!

So clicks are being lost! Big deal! We make $0.00/click anyway!

And Ssanf is right: This was indeed a known issue! Here's the thread.

Parasites don't need no darn clicks. Lets see if I do...Nope. Sales meter hasn't jump so having no clicks didn't give me a chance to up my EPC without some sales. Funny I've got a wonderful server stats package and in the last week I jumped up another 1440 page views a day over my norm.

I throw up a new indy merchant a week ago and they show 526 clicks throughs from my virgin page. Virgin meaning no SE has molested that one with some trolling bot. Hell the newbee merchant out sold all 184 CJ merchants in one week and they've had a 2 week head start with SE traffic.

Todd ..blow the CJ whistle on some of those established CJ merchants with reporting problems like eHobbies and GoCollect, who together on 1149 clicks haven't shown one sale from my Christmas shoppers. If those 2 think their going to get 3000 clicks out of me for FREE this year (like last year) they have another thing coming.

I'm not playing the qwack -qwack pluck a duck game this year. I'm calling all Holiday 800+ click Zero Sales merchants on all 3 networks basic con-men, thieves and scum infested loosers come Christmas Eve. Might as well as they'll be gone after the end of January seeking a new network to pillage.

Despite your use of "bold" type, I am most certain that you are aware, as others, that if the click is not registered, the sale will NOT be credited , thus the importance of the clicks being tracked and reported! AHEM!

I thought the above was known, as fact, oh well!

AHEM, That FALLACY has been stated a lot Haiko, but CJ has said in the past that the click tracking and the sales tracking are actually recorded in seperate files and handled by seperate servers even!

It's quite possible under that scenario, for clicks to be lost entirely and sales to not be bothered at all!

I personally have seen days where ZERO clicks were reported but I had plenty of sales.

Plus, the Spike in my EPC over the last week would tend to support their scenario. Same amount of sales, but less clicks reported = higher EPC!

And, that's how they can say, as you reported, that "sales will not be lost" even though clicks were!

As for my use of bold, your use of not only bold, but triple-repetition in a previous post is what set the tone!

Since they don't know why the clicks are not being tracked, how can you have any confidence that the sales are being tracked?

A click is the simpliest thing on the net to track. A sale on the other hand is one of the hardest to accurately track. There are so many places for a sale to be lost, I'm surprised that you'd be so nonchalant about the failure to track a click.

    Ignorance must truely be bliss.

Well, then CJ needs to hire you as a CS rep because the one I spoke to confirmed the "fallacy".

As for my use of the bold and triple postings, it was so that others would NOT do as SSanf did ... assume, this was pos was not adressing the pre-existing post/issue.

I am glad my post stood out to you, hopefully it did for others also, the point of information needed to be sent!

Must be the pesky little trust issue again that makes people wonder if no clicks, no sales? If people had full trust, then they'd be more likely to take on faith there is no problem with sales being tracked.
