Here we go again.. another set of critical updates, one of which looks like another hole for a Blaster/Nachi style worm, plus one for Windows servers running FrontPage extension. The simplest way to keep up to date with critical updates for most people is through Windows Update
MS03-048 Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer (824145)
Critical for all Windows operating systems running Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5 or 6.0
MS03-049 Buffer Overrun in the Workstation Service Could Allow Code Execution (828749)
Critical for Windows 2000 (presumably both Workstation and Server) and Windows XP. Does not affect Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0 or 2003.
MS03-051 Buffer Overrun in Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions Could Allow Code Execution (813360)
Critical for Windows 2000 SP2 and SP3, Windows XP. Does not affect Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000 SP4 or 2003.
MS03-050 Vulnerability in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Could Allow Arbitrary Code to Run (831527)
Important for Word and Excel 97, 2000 and 2002.
