October 30th, 2008, 12:48 PM #1Parsing XML using php simplexml_load_file()
I am getting back an XML formatted string/file based on a REST call to a web service. The problem is that I don't know the format of the response data, ie: the tag names. Usually this would be documented, but in this case, the web service is highly undocumented. Are there any php functions that will read the xml payload and determine the tags that are being used?

Did you ever get this to work for you yet?
I have a script on my laptop if I can just find it that might work.
Just been to darn busy, working 6 & 7 days at the shop and repairing computers on the side here at home.
Just let me know and I'll try my best to pull the script up for you.Where's the Great Life of Affiliate Marketing Hiding?

I use XML Notepad ... run an undefined XML feed thru it and it renders all the tag names
It's a freebie from Microsoft
