    Google Update
Noticed a thread starting at WMW - "Webmasters are buzzing with the dramatic changes that are now showing in Google Search results."

    Google.com SERP Changes - November 2008

"Oh my god, this is terrible."

"I am also seeing major shake up in the SERPS"

    "lol its pretty awful"

    etc. seems big stuff happening

I can't tell it's late. I do have one Squidoo lens that happens to be on page one for a major holiday term. If that somehow sticks, I will do cartwheels and probably injure myself.

I've been watching that, but don't see a lot of change for my sites and keywords.

    Cool
all I know is: for the last 2 days the googlebots have been looking (and getting 404s) for pages on certain of my sites that have not existed for maybe a year.

(wondering now if some of the datacenters tried to use an old index?)

I haven't really seen anything major. And some of the people over there are reporting things back to normal. See this is one of the reasons I stopped reading the Google forum over there.** Every little shift, somebody getting excited by some datacenter change, like a minute by minute play by play.

**I checked last night for the first time in a long while.

Trust the only time I am on WMW is when you post a link here

I found out a long time ago that the more I spend on "Henny Penny" forums the less I spend on my sites.

I am seeing no change to my sites.

After reading the whole thread on webmaster world, many are posting that their sites returned during the night last night. So if there was a change yesterday, I missed it.
