    Question Editor Kit help
I made an editor kit and called the campaign software yet this campaign never shows in my reports. Yet I've clicked on it a few times myself just to get it to show (so I know it's tracking clicks). Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is this normal for editor kits? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Did you use the unique campaign number that was generated in you ePN account?

Since I don't know what you mean I guess the answer is no. I just used the code as it was given. I didn't think we had to add anything to it.

you should set a campaign with a name that means something (You may want different ones for different sites or different uses) and that will get a number set by eBay.

in the Editor Kit you click on Provider and Ebay Partner Network and then put the number of the campaign in the box that shows up for it.

This way, they can track you.

    Question
I'm reading the instructions now. The editor kit makes you sign in. It won't accept the normal way I sign in to the EPN (email and password) so I had to sign in using our companies eBay store account (which is the only sign in it accepted) So I think the problem is here somehow. How can EPN link to our Store account? This is confusing to say the least.

In checking it out I see that you can use either the campaign name OR the campaign ID. You create new campaigns in tools under the Campaign tab in your ePN account and use those unique campaign names/IDs to create your links and creatives.

do one and see where the number shows up. you should be able to plug it in at that exact spot in the code on the other pages.

In the EK you have to manually enter your campaign ID...

Ok...here's what I've done. The campaign was software. I replaced that word in the link with the campaign id number and clicked on the link a couple of times. Let's see if that shows up in the next day or so.

    Thanks for all your help.

I would rather you told us you made a whole new instance of the code by putting the number in the correct box.

That would be a start on the rest of the pages.

either way, let us know how it works out.

I did just that. Did it all over again from the beginning using the campaign number instead of the name. I have confidence this will fix the issue but I will report back.

Thanks to both you and Ed for trying to help me out. Much appreciated.

I'm glad that worked. The campaign number was confusing to me when I first started using the EK too.
