Thanking those who serve is the least we can do. Remembering all those who lost their lives or had them changed forever because of physical or mental damages and families ripped asunder should keep us aware of the true cost of war.Buzzy Multimedia Publishing Affiliate Program--SAS Sign-Up

Everyone should pause for a moment and consider how different life is now, compared to November 11th 1918, the World War 1 ceasefire, the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, exactly 90 years ago today.
Everyone owes their life to those who have died (and of course those who lived) fighting for their country.
Whether you agree with war or not, this world would not be anything like it is now if it were not for those who have fought for their country.

Happy Veterans Day to all who fought for our freedom!
Interestingly enough, today is also my grandfather's birthday (he left this world close to 10 years already, but the memories of him will live in my family's hearts forever). He fought the Nazi Germany since day 1 of that terrible war.
Yes, as Kevin said, THANK YOU, our veterans!! THANK YOU for giving us the life that we can live now.
PS: Not every country in the world has such a holiday. Those that don't -- should.
