I get called a geek more often these days. I try to explain that I'm just savvy, but it's usually the people who are not as computer savvy as I am calling me a geek.

I get this quite a bit too, people act surprised when they find out that I work with computers. If being smarter than them makes me a geek then ... Hello, My name is Greg and I'm a geek lol.

I'm not sure if a nerd is better. Thoughts?
