    Hi Everyone,
We have a huge problem. We have started a new ircx based chat service. Apparently there are some scriptkiddies out there who get their rocks off by dropping our site as often as they can. They are hitting us with nemesy ip tools and other various DOS bots i guess. We have spent a fortune on a cisco router/firewall and still have much work to do to get it configured properly.

Anyway, before I ramble on for the rest of the night, this is what we need.

We are running a Windows Advance Server 2003 (not my choice) Can anyone tell me where I can find a perl script or something that will record all the port scans and DOS attacks along with the attackers IP address? It's time that we take this to the feds, I think we better compile some evidence first though.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

I read on article on dos attacks using irc bots and stuff before.. dunno if it will help but it was interesting.

read it awhile ago.. I believe they did something to filter the attacks.
